Grey Skateboard

We wrote about them months ago, at the first hint of these boards, and at long last, Penny Organic is arriving soon! In fact, at the end of this month (August), Penny Australia is making history with the first ever biodegradable plastic skateboard. Available in 4 colours, brown, grey, dark green and light green, these boards feature the same super soft wheels and colourful trucks as the standard models, the difference though: the deck. The Penny Organic deck works with enzymes that occur naturally in dirt to rapidly increase the bio-degradation of the plastic. This means if you bury your board, the deck will break down in a matter of months, much faster than the non-organic plastic used in the standard decks. Remember though, you do need to take the trucks and wheels off first as they are not organic.
