Melbourne's 2010 North Western Skate & BMX League Begins

On the 28th of August the first event in the 2010 North Western Skate and BMX League kicks off the series at Newport skate park.

The series features 4 categories, 12 and under, 16 and under, open female and open with 14 heats around Melbourne's North West and a grand final in the format:

Skate For Epilepsy

Help out Epilepsy Queensland this May by supporting Queensland's own Travis Smith in his Skate for Epilepsy. Starting on May 26 2010, Travis will be skateboarding from Brisbane City to Tweed to help raise money and awareness of epilepsy.

The skate also coincides with Epilepsy Queensland's awareness campaign that runs from May to June this year.
