April 14 marks the second bout of the year for the Northern Brisbane Rollers, the Untouchabelles vs the Diner Might Dolls. Doors open at 6pm at the South Pine Sports Complex on South Pine Rd, Brendale in Brisbane. Adults are $12 and kids under 12 are free.

Skateboard Lessons at Ramp Attak by Drawing Boards

This Sunday the Drawing Boards team are starting to run skateboard lessons at Ramp Attak in Geebung in Brisbane.

It looks like initially lessons are going to be run on Sunday from 9-11am and Monday from 6-8pm.

Stoke Exhibition Video by Channel 7

Channel 7 ran a video on the Stoke exhibition with clips flashing back to highlights from Brisbane skateboarding days gone by, including the visit by Tony Hawk and some of the first competitions in Brisbane.

The Stoke Exhibition is now open at the Museum of Brisbane and will run until the 27th of February 2011 showcasing the history and culture of skateboarding in Brisbane, including the artistry, camaraderie, and phsyical aspects of skateboarding.
