Inline skates, also known as Rollerblades have been around for quite a while now, with the sport developing into a number of key areas. The name Rollerblades is actually the name of one of the most prominent brands in inline skating, that pioneered the sport in the early days and have since been the first to bring out many new features and levels of performance. The most popular inline skating is recreational skating, and the majority of skates we stock fit into this category. The other major inline skate disciplines include: fitness skating; speed skating; aggressive skating; and inline hockey. A small number of people also use inline skates for artistic skating (also known as dance skating).
Inline skating has recently been through a downturn in popularity but has started to pick back up, as such we are constantly working to increase the range of brands and models of inline skates that we stock as well as spare parts. Remember though, the right skates for you will vary depending on what you plan to do with them. For advice, including fitting guidance, please contact us.
